Appellants are citizens of the United States and residents of the State of Illinois, and, as co-partners under the trade names of Dr. Ritholz Optical Company and National Optical Stores Company, are engaged in offering for sale and selling optical goods in several states. In the latter part of 1937 the Federal Trade Commission issued a complaint, charging appellants with unfair methods of competition in commerce in violation of Sec. 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act.
