The respondent was convicted in the recorder’s court for the city of Detroit on an information charging him with fraudulently and feloniously embezzling and converting to his own use 37 passenger railroad tickets, the property of the Detroit United Railway; said railroad tickets being in fact undated, unpunched transfer checks, of the Detroit United Railway, Cross Town Line West. *240The information was based on section 11627, 3 Comp. Laws, which reads as follows:
