¶ 56. The majority errs by reweighing the evidence before the trial court and reversing the trial court’s holding that Goodin failed to establish by a preponderance of the evidence that he suffers from mental retardation. Because Goodin submitted insufficient evidence of significant limitations in adaptive functioning in at least two adaptive skill areas, he failed to meet the standard announced in Atkins v.
