OPINION

FENDER, Chief Justice.

MCI Telecommunications Corporation (hereafter “MCI”) appeals from the district court’s order dismissing for want of jurisdiction MCI’s request for review of the Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board’s “Order Determining Protest”. MCI argues the Tarrant County Appraisal District (hereafter “TCAD”) failed to prove want of jurisdiction at the hearing on the TCAD’s plea to the jurisdiction because the TCAD failed to show that it fully and strictly complied with section 41.47(d) of the Texas Property Tax Code.
