The United States instituted this suit against Luther A. Hunter after he defaulted on a Small Business Administration loan used to finance the purchase of computer equipment. Hunter brought third-party claims against Texas Instruments, the hardware manufacturer; Arkansas Computer Company, the seller-dealer; and two software manufacturers, claiming that the computer hardware and software failed to operate as represented.
