I. INTRODUCTION

E.B. McIntosh has appealed this case from the Chancery Court of Newton County, concerning an issue of estoppel in a property dispute with the Murray Church of God in Christ (Murray Church). The chancellor held a hearing on July 29, 1991. The chancellor entered a judgment on August 1, 1991. The judgment held that McIntosh was estopped from defending title as to property in dispute between McIntosh and Murray Church.
