The plaintiff brought this action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in falling from a gang-plank leading from a dock in the city of Seattle to the deck of the steamer Rosalie, on which he was intending to take passage to Victoria, and, having recovered a judgment, the defendant has appealed.
