Appellants Timothy Davis tice. Holiman, and Hopkins Law Firm (“Attorneys”) are attorneys who petitioned the chancery court to determine the existence of an attorney’s lien on funds held by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (“DFA”). The petition was the outgrowth of a class action brought by the Attorneys on behalf of certain business corporations from whom income taxes had been erroneously collected by DFA.
