KNAPPEN, Circuit Judge.

Appellee brought this suit in a Tennessee court against nine insurance companies to recover damages claimed to have been suffered through the failure and neglect of the representative of those companies seasonably to carry out the agreement hereinafter set forth.

Plaintiff’s retail stock of goods, together with furniture and fixtures, in its store at Chattanooga, Tenn., was insured against loss and damage by fire by a series of nine standard form policies, severally issued by the respective defendants herein, and aggregating $16,500.
