SMITH, Judge.

This appeal is from an affirmance by the Patent Office Board of Appeals of the examiner’s rejection of claims 12, 14, 15 and 16 of appellant’s application Ser. No. 404,113, filed January 14, 1954 for an improvement in a “Dockboard.”

The term “dockboard” is a term commonly used in the trade to identify a portable loading ramp which is used to bridge the space between a loading dock and a carrier, such for example, as a truck or railroad ear to facilitate the transfer of goods from the loading dock to the carrier or vice versa.
