This legal controversy commenced when Plaintiff International Industries, Inc., being the drawer in the parlance of commercial transactions, drew four checks on Security Pacific National Bank, Valley Plaza Branch, North Hollywood, California, the drawee bank. These four checks, which totaled approximately $154,500.00, were made payable to various payees on February 24, 1970, March 12 and 15, 1970, and April 16, 1970, respectively. Thomas C.
