Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Vogt, J.), rendered July 17, 1984, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of rape in the first degree, sodomy in the first degree (three counts), and assault in the second degree.

After a jury trial, defendant was convicted on charges of rape in the first degree, sodomy in the first degree (three counts), and assault in the second degree.
