Defendant-Appellant General Electric Company (“GE”) appeals from a district court judgment holding it liable under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (“CERCLA”), 42 U.S.C. § 9607(a)(3), for response costs incurred by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) in the unfinished cleanup of the Fletcher’s Paint Works and Storage Facility Superfund Site in Milford, New Hampshire (the “Fletcher Site” or the “Site”).
