In this case, there was evidence that would warrant the jury’s conclusion that the defendant sexually abused a five and one-half year old boy, whom we shall call Anthony. Over a seven-year period from the spring of 1978 to the spring of 1985, Anthony slept at the defendant’s house in the defendant’s bedroom with the door closed, in the defendant’s bed, approximately once or twice each month.
