Plaintiff McKesson Information Solutions, LLC is the assignee of U.S. Patent No. 6,757,898 (“the '898 patent”), which is directed to an “Electronic Provider — Patient Interface System.” In general terms, the invention claimed in the '898 patent relates to a communications system for providing automated, electronic communications between a health-care provider and the health-care provider’s patients.
