This suit was originally filed by plaintiffs, all residents of the State of Texas, against the defendants, Deposit Guaranty National Bank of Jackson, Mississippi (DGN), a nationally chartered banking corporation, William D. Mounger, a Mississippi resident who at all relevant times was vice-president in charge of its petroleum department, J.
