MEMORANDUM OPINION

JOE J. FISHER, Chief Judge.

In this cause of action Plaintiff seeks to recover proceeds under a life insurance policy which the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company issued to the United States Civil Service Commission pursuant to federal statute.1 The Court has jurisdiction of both the parties and subject matter involved by reason of the fact that complete diversity of citizenship exists, and the amount in controversy exceeds the sum of $10,000.00, exclusive of interests and costs.
