*267{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Seth Mize, appeals his sentence in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas.

I. Procedural Posture

{¶ 2} In 2008, Mize pled guilty to two separate counts of robbery. The trial court sentenced Mize to seven years in prison on one count of robbery and five years of community control on the other robbery count. The trial court ordered that Mize's community control commence after he was released from prison.
