This suit was begun in August, 1909, by Walter H. Pigg, a minor fourteen years of age, suing by and through his father, Joel L- Pigg, for damages sustained from personal injuries caused by the alleged negligence of defendant company. The petition alleged in substance: That defendant, Curtis & Gartside Company, was a manufacturing corporation engaged, among other things, in manufacturing doors and window sashes.
