It appears that the defendant was engaged in the business of erecting a building situated at the intersection of two of the most t important thoroughfares in the city of Milwaukee. In that respect he must be held to be acting for and on b.ehalf of the owner and to have the same rights in the public streets adjacent to the property that the owner would have if the owner himself were engaged in the work.
