Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Turner, Jr., J.), rendered May 5, 1986, upon a verdict convicting defendant *953of the crimes of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the first degree and conspiracy in the second degree.

As a result of an investigation undertaken by the Town of Colonie Police Department in Albany County, defendant was indicted for numerous crimes by a Grand Jury.
