Earlier this year, the Court denied the plaintiffs’ motion for a preliminary injunction. See Singh v. Joshi, 152 F.Supp.3d 112 (E.D.N.Y.2016). The factual background of the case and the Court’s legal analysis are set forth in full in that decision. In sum, the Court upheld rules promulgated by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (“TLC”) to increase the availability of wheelchair-accessible yellow cabs against challenges under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment.
