Defendants Terrance Ray Lincoln and Brittany Kim Dowdell were tried before dual juries for offenses arising out of a robbery/carjacking/kidnapping incident in Sunnyvale. The jury trying Lincoln (the Lincoln jury) found him guilty on five counts as charged: “Count One”—kidnapping for ransom or extortion; “Count Two”—kidnapping during a carjacking; “Count Three”—carjacking; “Count Four”—kidnapping for robbery; and “Count Five”—criminal threats.
