This is a mandamus proceeding to compel the building inspector of the city of Lake- Charles to issue a permit to the relator to construct and. operate a gasoline filling station on his property in the city. The only reason for the refusal to grant the permit was that the relator’s property was within the limits prescribed by a zoning ordinance, forbidding the construction or use of any building for any commercial or business purpose within the defined limits.
