The county of Niagara sold at a public sale parcels of land upon which the county taxes had not been paid. The plaintiff purchased at such sale three parcels of land situate in the city of North Tonawanda, and certificates of the sale thereof *11i were delivered to him. The sales were had pursuant to chapter ■ 744 of the Laws of 1904, which act applies only to the county of Niagara. It is therein provided that the owner of a certificate at the end of two years from the date of such certificate shall cause to be served upon the occupant, if any, of the land described in such certificate a notice…
