Section A.—November 29,1882, oneDorsey was injured while in the joint employment of the parties to this suit,- • at their “union yard,” in Rosenberg, Texas, while engaged in coupling cars. He instituted suit against the appellant and the Galveston, Harrisburg & San Antonio Railway Company, and recovered a joint judgment against them for $15,000, which was affirmed by the Supreme Court (66 Texas, 148), and was satisfied by each of the last mentioned companies paying one-half thereof, in June, 1886.
