— John Henry Yand died intestate in Renton, Washington, in October, 1942, when he was more than ninety years old. His daughter, Ethel Martin, was duly appointed administratrix of the estate and thereafter duly qualified. The heirs of the deceased are Ethel Martin and two children of a deceased son, his grandchildren, Clarence T. Yand and Marian Y. Eckert. During the course of the administration, Ethel Martin, with whom her father lived for a number of years prior to his death, individually filed her claim in the amount of $2,520 against the estate for care and support of, and money advanced…
