The State of Alabama appeals from the trial court's order granting, in part, Paige Tidwell Gargus's motion to suppress evidence seized as the result of a traffic stop.

On May 25, 2001, Gargus was indicted for unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation of § 13A-12-214, Ala. Code 1975, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a violation of § 13A-12-212, Ala. Code 1975.
