This is a suit by the receiver o? a defunct national bank to recover against shareholders their liability upon an assessment.1 The suit was brought against the shareholders in the federal court for *973the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. It was begun more than five years and le.ss than six years after the cause of action had accrued.2 These dates present the significant facts for the application of a rule of law to the one disputed question on this appeal.
