This case involves a mediated settlement agreement between two of the heirs of Alfredo D. Goncalves (Alfredo) 1 and the executrix of his estate, Maria Goncalves (Maria or defendant). The plaintiffs, Luci-lio P. Furtado (Lucilio) and Patricia Gon-calves (Patricia) 2 (collectively, plaintiffs), appeal from a Superior Court judgment ordering them to execute general releases and pay attorney’s fees incurred by the executrix in seeking to enforce the settlement agreement.
