Plaintiff Deborah Branham brought suit under the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) after being terminated from her job as a receptionist for The Dickson Herald, a newspaper owned by Gannett Satellite Information Network, Inc. (“Gannett”), for excessive absenteeism. The district court granted summary judgment to Gan-nett.
