The above claimant, Jennie Sherlock, was on the 5th day of April, 1910, one of the depositors of the Union Bank of Brooklyn, in the borough of Brooklyn, city of New York. On that day the said bank failed and closed its doors, as a result of which this claimant lost all of the money she then and there had on deposit, excepting the sum of twenty-four dollars and twenty cents, which was thereafter paid to her, the loss to this claimant being the sum of ninety-six dollars and seventy-two cents.
