Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (David Stadtmauer, J.), rendered February 9, 1999, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of sexual abuse in the first degree, and sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to a term of seven years, unanimously reversed, on the law, and the matter remanded for a new trial.
Reversal is required as a result of the trial court’s denial of defendant’s cause challenge to a prospective juror.
