This suit is by a husband against his wife to recover $38,850 of Liberty bonds and treasury notes, or their value. He claims she took them from his safe deposit box in the Guaranty Trust Company, New York, shortly before she left him in October, 1924. To her suit in the Supreme Court of New York for a separation, he counter-claimed for a separation and to recover $38,850 of Liberty bonds or their value.
