Plaintiff, Luverne Harden, filed an action at law for wrongful discharge alleging that her employer, Playboy Enterprises, Inc., breached its employment contract with her in violation of the employment manual when it failed to follow procedures relating to discharge. The trial court ruled that defendant’s employment handbook created an enforceable contractual relationship between Playboy and the plaintiff.
