MEMORANDUM OPINION

Plaintiff Dr. Samuel Song was hired in 1975 as the Associate Medical Director at Ives Laboratories. Beginning in July 1981, disputes arose involving plaintiffs role at Ives until, in October 1983, plaintiff was notified that his employment was to be terminated. On May 30, 1984, plaintiff filed a charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). In accordance with its own regulations, the EEOC referred plaintiffs charge to the State Division of Human Rights (“SDHR”). 1 SDHR did not perform its own investigation…
