In a jury-waived trial in the Superior Court (Penobscot County; Pierson, J.), Peter Perry was convicted of one count of gross sexual misconduct, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253 (1983 & Supp.1988). On appeal he asserts that the Superior Court’s restrictions on his access to records of the Bangor Police Department and the Department of Human Services (DHS) violated M.R.
