Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Slavin, J.), rendered December 15, 1988, convicting him of criminal pos*895session of a controlled substance in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of those branches of the defendant’s omnibus motion which were to suppress certain physical evidence and statements made by him to the police.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contention, the hearing court did not err by refusing to suppress physical evidence…
