Plaintiffs Laser Alignment, Inc., (Alignment) and Contractors Automated Devices, Inc., (Contractors) brought this patent infringement action against Woodruff & Sons, Inc., (Woodruff) and Roy J. Woodruff, alleging infringement of Trice Patent No., 3,116,557, owned by Contractors and licensed exclusively to Alignment.
