This appeal concerns the options available to a judge of a circuit court when he strikes the suspension of the execution of a prison sentence upon a determination that a defendant has violated a condition of probation. Thomas R. Donaldson, convicted of being a petty thief and a violator of the conditions of probation imposed, believes that if he is not to be incarcerated for his past transgressions, he must now be turned loose on society free from any judicially imposed supervision or conditions.
