These are six separate actions on six promissory notes, all dated December 31, 1921, each in the sum of $1,000. These are part of a series of nine notes given in one transaction as part of the purchase price of other choses in actions, consisting of various other notes. The first of these notes was payable three months after date, and the other notes were payable one each succeeding month thereafter.
