After a bench trial in Superior Court, the defendant was convicted of indictments charging him with breaking and entering a dwelling house in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, burglary, and receiving stolen goods.

*495Prior to his trial, the defendant filed a motion to suppress items seized as a result of a warrantless search of his vehicle. After an evidentiary hearing, a Superior Court judge (motion judge) denied the suppression motion, concluding that the defendant had consented to the search of his vehicle and the seizure of the items in question.
