Plaintiff-appellant Karl Ehrens appeals from a decision of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Brieant, /.) granting summary judgment to defendants-appellees, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (the “Synod”) and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Atlantic District (the “Atlantic District”) (collectively, the “defendants”), on his claims for negligent retention and supervision.1 For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
