LAVINE, J.
The respondent father, Eric B., appeals from the judgments of the trial court terminating his parental rights as to three of his minor children,1 pursuant to General Statutes § 17a-112 (j) (3) (B) (i), for *641failure to achieve such a degree of personal rehabilitation as would encourage the belief that within a reasonable time he could assume a responsible position in his children’s lives.2 The respondent claims that the court violated the Code of Judicial Conduct in that an appearance of impropriety permeated the trial and the court’s decision.3 More specifically, the…
