Appellant, Mauricio Rodriguez Celis, was convicted of fourteen counts of falsely holding himself out as a lawyer. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 38.122(a) (West 2003). By eighteen issues, appellant seeks to reverse his conviction based on challenges to: (1) the legal sufficiency of the evidence; (2) the denial of his motion for new trial based on judicial bias; (3) the constitutionality of section 38.122 of the Texas Penal Code; (4) the jury charge; and (5) the admission and exclusion of evidence.
