In this matter seeking a mandatory injunction, the agent of a minority stockholder made written demand on the officers of the corporation to examine the corporate records in order to “secure information as to the details of the company’s business, the status of its affairs and to investigate whether there are any improprieties in the management and operation of the company.” The company refused the agent access to the books alleging that the request did not comply with the requirements of §1701.37 R.
