In an information filed in Calhoun County on April 17, 1978, the defendant was charged with breaking and entering, MCL 750.110; MSA 28.305. On the first day of trial, July 20, *6141978, the prosecutor filed a supplemental information charging the defendant as a third offender, MCL 769.11; MSA 28.1083, alleging prior felonies in Calhoun and neighboring Kalamazoo Counties. This information was submitted without objection from the defendant.
