In 1989, the plaintiffs brought this action in the Superior Court to enforce a guarantee given by the defendant during the previous year, and obtained a pre-judgment attachment on all of the defendant’s real estate in Suffolk County. The defendant filed an opposition to the plaintiffs’ application for approval of the attachment grounded in part on the fact that the only real estate she owned was held with her husband as tenants by the entirety and occupied by them as their principal residence.
