This is a quo warranto proceeding brought July 1st, 1935, in this Court by the Attorney General for a judgment of ouster against Judge John U. Bird, who asserts a right under Section 14 of Article XVI, of the Constitution, to continue in office as Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida, after the expiration of his term of office on June 24th, 1935, until his successor as Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit is duly qualified upon an appointment by the Governor and confirmation by the Senate.
