This suit was instituted by R. L. Davidson against Magnolia Compress & Warehouse Company, hereinafter, for convenience, ■called the compress company, to recover judgment for $566.73 with interest thereon.

The plaintiff substantially alleged that he entered into a contract of employment with the compress company through its general agent and 'manager, O. S. Kinney, on the 1st day of August, 1927; that such contract was for a term of one year extending from the 1st day of August, 1927, to the 1st day of August, 1928; that by the terms of the contract the compress company agreed to pay plaintiff…
